After a long search for his branded sound and many years of experience in electronic music, Dmtiry NekliFF decides to create his new unusual and bright project AIKON. AIKON is an artist of a new generation but with great experience in the world of electronic music. The main idea of the project is a mixture of organic sounds from Africa and the East with electronic synthesizers & electro guitars. The first release, under the name Luanda, was released on Sweet Musique and all three tracks in the EP were in the top 100 Beatport Afro House. The next releases will be on labels with the big name Disco Halal & Sol Selectas.
DAVY DOORN means techno music with a whole lotta African influence, surrounded by melodic vibes, powerful vocals, heavy percussions and tribal chants. Smooth and dirty basslines are keeping the circle round. Two partners in crime and partners in fine, David and Joris, both growing up in Austria, now living in Innsbruck, found each other in the city that calls the Alps its skyline. Dave’s early reggae days, Joris’ first row rave attendances and both ruling a bar with friends kinda built the path to African techno music. Various trips to Africa’s electronic hotspots made the passion grow bigger, that’s why there was no other way than start spinning some tracks. This “DJ career” is just some months young, but the joy of playing music and the whistling listeners are more than enough resonance to extend their love for electronic music.
