Nach dem Erfolg des Erstlings UNITY (2019) zeigen SPIRAL DRIVE erneut ihre Fähigkeit, Psychedelic Rock, Alternative Rock, Psych Pop, Grunge und Indie Rock homogen und abwechslungsreich miteinander zu verschmelzen.

Dies ist nur ein Beispiel von zahlreichen begeisterten nationalen und internationalen Reviews, die hierbei alle eine gleiche Sprache sprechen: Frischer Neo-Psych-Rock, dessen Songs bei Konzerten viel Raum für Improvisationen und Jams liefern - diese Band muss man live erleben! Auf dem von Raphael Neikes und Manuel Renner gemeinsam produzierten Album konnte die Band - bestehend aus Raphael Neikes, David Knevels und Nicholas Stampf und Quentin Vogel - ihre Visionen in voller Blüte verwirklichen. Brachiale Riffs stoßen auf tiefe psychedelische Klangwelten wohliger analoger Wärme.
So fanden auch internationale Gäste und Freunde wie Ben McLeod von „All Them Witches“(US), Lord Fascinator von „Children Collide“ (AUS) oder Yves Krismer von „Mother’s Cake“ (AUT) ihren musikalischen Weg auf die Double LP-Platte.
Nach gut zwei Jahren Zwangspause sind Spiral Drive mehr als bereit die internationalen Festivals und Clubs zu bespielen.

MOON WOMAN ist eine vierköpfige Formation aus Innsbruck in Österreich, die mit einer atmosphärischen Verschmelzung von Blues, Psychedelic und Heavy Rock glänzt. Trotz wuchtiger Drums & Riffs bleibt der Gesamtsound stets groovy, beweglich, luftig und leichtfüßig. Einflüsse wie The Doors, Peter Green-Ära Fleetwood Mac und zeitgenössischeren Künstlern wie All Them Witches fließen in den Sound mit ein.
Nach ersten Konzerten mit dem Jam-Trio Electric Octopus und den deutschen Space-Rockern von Kosmodrom in den Jahren 2019/2020, folgten mehrere Auftritte in Deutschland und Österreich im Jahr 2021. Hierbei teilte sich Moon Woman die Bühne mit Bands wie Mother`s Cake und Savanah.
Durch den dynamischen Jam-Charakter von Moon Woman entwickelt sich bei jedem Konzert eine einzigartige Atmosphäre, welche das Publikum in seinen Bann zu ziehen weiß.
Daniel Rieser (Bass/Gesang), Florian Ortner (E-Gitarre) und Rene Nussbaumer (Drums) nahmen "Open Gates" innerhalb von zwei Wochen in ihrem Proberaum auf. Am 18. Dezember 2020 wurde das Album self-released. Danach stieß Markus Fanninger am Keyboard zur Band hinzu.

VISIONS IN BLOOM - with the second studio album released on March 11th 2022 via StoneFree Records, SPIRAL DRIVE is back on national and international festival and club stages. After the success of the debut album UNITY in 2019, SPIRAL DRIVE once again show the ability to homogeneously merge psychedelic rock, alternative rock, psych pop, grunge and indierock.

This is just one example of numerous enthusiastic national and international reviews, all of which have a common denominator: fresh neo-psych rock, songs that leave plenty of room for improvisation and jams at concerts - you have to experience it live! For the production of VIB Raphaël teamed up with his friend Manuel Renner to realize his vision in full bloom: brutal riffs encountering deep psychedelic soundscapes of comforting analogue warmth.
That’s also why international collaborators and friends like Ben McLeod from „All Them Witches“ (US), „Lord Fascinator“ from „Children Collide“ (AUS) and Yves Krismer from „Mother’s Cake“ (AUT) found their musical way to the double LP record. In June of 2022 Spiral Drive recorded a live session at the prestigious Little Big Beat Studio in Liechtenstein, which was released as a limited edition live album on vinyl in 2023 and had a major streaming hit with the single SPACE TRAIN.
For 2024 the band is keen to play as many live shows as possible.

MOON WOMAN is a versatile, four-headed formation from Innsbruck, Austria, that shines with an atmospheric merging of blues, psychedelic and heavy rock. Besides thick riffs and heavy drums, the base of their sound stays groovy, dynamic and airy. Digging deep in their foundation, influences like The Doors, Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac and more contemporary artists like All Them Witches come to light.
After their first shows with the internationally acclaimed jam trio Electric Octopus and the german Spacerock-band Kosmodrom in 2019/2020, several gigs in Germany and Austria in 2021 with bands like Mother`s Cake and Savanah followed.
With their dynamic jam character, every Moon Woman show develops a unique atmosphere that pulls the audience under its spell.
Daniel Rieser (Bass/Vocals), Florian Ortner (Electric Guitar) and Rene Nussbaumer (Drums) recorded “Open Gates” within two weeks in their rehearsal room and self-released it in December 2020. After that, Markus Fanninger joined them on the keys.
